Saving children is saving the present and the future of us and of humanity.
Since 1986 Casa Do Menor has been fighting against intolerance, exclusion and violence on the Brazilian streets, offering all those children and young people with no future an alternative to a destiny marked by drugs, crime, prostitution and death. That is why it offers them protection, shelter and opportunities with concrete and effective programmes so that they can dream again.
Casa do Menor’s mission is to reach out to children, adolescents, young people and their families in socially vulnerable situations, and to help them with shelter and community development programmes, so that they can integrate into society and become protagonists of their own future.

Since 2000 Casa Do Menor keeps updated our friends and supporters with the Journal “From street to life” to inform them about the activities carried out in Brazil and the initiatives realized in Italy. In the journal, our effective way to maintain a strong relationship between Casa Do Menor and its supporter, we highlight all the many activities that are carried out thanks to the perseverance and commitment of many Italian and foreign donors.
